On 4th Feb'19, over 5 crore pilgrims travelled to Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj (earlier known as Allahabad), Uttar Pradesh India to follow their faith in God and to take holy dip on the occasion of Mauni Amavasya (Silent New Moon). Hindus believe bathing at the sacred confluence of the Ganga, the Yamuna and the mystical Sarasvati rivers will cleanse their sins and bring salvation. The day breaks the world record for the largest human gathering on a single day ever! Kumbh Mela is celebrated four times during a timespan of twelve years amongst the four pilgrimage sites on four sacred rivers selected upon distinctive astronomy. The Uttar Pradesh government allocated Rs. 4,300 crore for the Kumbh 2019 with 45 sq km converted into a gigantic tent city for an estimated 15 crore pilgrims coming from all walks of life....
