Bali among other things "refers to the blood of an animal" and is sometimes known as jhatka. This photo is taken at "Elavoor" (gummidipoondi) . Where this bali is offered to goddess #Aegavalli by a father of a girl who gave this treat to the goddess, for his daughter whose ears gets pierced on her ear-piercing ceremony.
