- Description:This scene is from a lake in Hyderabad, Telangana, India that will remain unnamed to help protect its relative pristineness; captured on one of my travels through the city. This Island has a couple of tiny islands, inward and far from human reach. So the flora & fauna there can not be hurt or affected by direct/tangible means, from mankind. But look closely at the branch on the left and several other spots on its branches and you will notice that even this haven is not safe from human meddling, even where they can't reach. Those wires/threads are seriously sharp strings of twine/maanja that are uses to fly kites. Any bird that gets tangled enough in this wire can be injured seriously enough to be fatal. It is imperative that at least those of us who are educated and have some common sense dissociate ourselves from participating in such potentially harmful activities and reserve such recreations to plain fields without trees and electric poles.
