Farmers and their families are plowing paddy in rural Bengal. After planting and harvesting the paddy, it is picked up and swept in the field. The method of threshing paddy shown in this picture is laborious and old. This method of threshing rice requires a lot more people and takes more time. On the altar made of a bamboo, everyone threw a ripe paddy tree at the force of the body, so that the rice became separated from the part on the top of the tree.
