Along with beauty, the flowers of some species of chrysanthemum have insecticidal properties. Chrysanthemum coccinum (C. coccineum) and Chrysanthemum marshallai (C. marschalli) flowers were first used as insecticides in Iran. Around 1840, C. cinerariaefolium Dalmia.
