Travellers life finding a new destination to explore and walk towards it. I love this picture as this explains my experience really well. That day early morning it rained a lot in Kutch, and I'm lucky enough to capture the beautiful reflections it created because of that.

This scene is from a lake in Hyderabad, Telangana, India that will remain unnamed to help protect its relative pristineness; captured on one of my travels through the city. This Island has a couple of tiny islands, inward and far from human reach. So the flora & fauna there can not be hurt or affected by direct/tangible means, from mankind.

But look closely at the branch on the left and several other spots on its branches and you will notice that even this haven is not safe from human meddling, even where they can't reach. Those wires/threads are seriously sharp strings of twine/maanja that are uses to fly kites. Any bird that gets tangled enough in this wire can be injured seriously enough to be fatal. 

It is imperative that at least those of us who are educated and have some common sense dissociate ourselves from participating in such potentially harmful activities and reserve such recreations to plain fields without trees and electric poles.

This shot, from my journey towards the Pench forest, Nagpur, is a reminder of how protective nature can be.  

Observe how peacefully this tiny owlet is sleeping, un bothered by predators and even humans. Such is the extent of this gift called "Camouflage", that nature passes on between generations, as inheritance.

Gifted

If you have not experienced a journey on this route, in train, you haven't completely travelled south India. 

The Pamban Bridge was built in 1913 and is over a century old now. This is a single track rail line that connects the Pamban Island to Indian Mainland. 

If you are lucky enough, you can get to experience a sunrise when in the train, a golden hue slowly crawling up the dark sea, slowly turning blue.

Ancient Jerash was an open city of freestanding structures richly embellished with marble and granite. Its engineering was so advanced that large parts of the city still survive today. Much more has been painstakingly restored by archeological teams from around the world.

The main attractions in Jerash are, not surprisingly, the ruins themselves.
